BIOGRAPHY
Wu Lin is an assistant professor in the UCF Department of Computer Science and a member of UCF’s Artificial Intelligence Initiative. He received his doctoral degree in computer science from the University of British Columbia in 2023. In 2024 and 2025, he was a Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow at the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Canada, and in 2017, he worked as a technical staff member at the RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project in Japan. His research bridges computer science, statistics and mathematics to develop novel, implementable algorithms for numerical optimization and probabilistic inference, as well as to advance the theoretical foundations of artificial intelligence.
