Welcome to Computer Science at UCF

Our mission is advancing human understanding of Computing. We do this both through teaching and research. In teaching we offer bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Information Technology. We offer master’s degrees in Computer Science and Digital Forensics and a Ph.D. in Computer Science. In research we have a distinguished and active faculty who do research in the many areas listed below.

Computer Science is responsible for research and degree programs in the areas of: Computer Science, and Information Technology, Digital Forensics, Data Analytics (or Data Science) and Financial Technology. In Computer Science we offer a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. We offer a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and a Master of Science degree in Digital Forensics. We also share an MS degree program in Data Analytics with the UCF department of Statistics and Data Science and the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems. We also share a joint PhD program in Big Data Analytics with the department of Statistics and Data Science. Finally, we are excited to have a new joint degree program with the department of Finance in Financial Technology (FinTech).
