BIOGRAPHY
Michael McAlpin has over 35 years of industry experience ranging from military secure communications thru communications protocol development for cellular, land based and space-based applications. These communications protocols required very tightly coupled hardware and software development for both equipment manufacturers and large-scale deployments (300,000+ terminals).
He has been with UCF for more than 10 years teaching communications security, secure software development, algorithms and other security related and design classes.
