Microsoft’s Build The Shield Cybersecurity Competition

Congratulations to four teams of UCF EECS students for their strong performance at Microsoft’s Build the Sheild cybersecurity competition in Redmond, WA. UCF’s teams finished 3rd, 6th, 10th, and 12th out of 50 competing teams from across the United States. Our 3rd Place team consisted of Mark Ignacio, Cody McMahon, Alexander Lynch, and Ditmar Wendt; our 6th Place team consisted of Carlos Beltran, Austin Brogle, Conner Brooks, and Kevin DiClemente; our 10th Place team consisted of Kevin Colley, Charly Collin, Alexander Davis, and Kirk Elifson; and our 12th Place team consisted of Cory Kinberger, Gabriela Llave, Maxwell Miller, and Beckylin Orooji.
