Use Data in Innovative Ways

There is an increasing need to turn large and complex amounts of data into knowledge to drive business decisions. With a Master of Science in Data Analytics, you can learn to manage and interpret data so your organization can continue on the path to success. The program will teach you to utilize the technical aspects of big data analytics, including algorithm design, programming, acquisition, management, mining, analysis and interpretation of data.

CURRICULUM AND PROGRAM ADMISSIONS

The M.S. in Computer Science requires 30 credit hours beyond the bachelor’s degree. Students must receive a grade of “B” or higher in all courses.

Student can choose to pursue the AI track, which will equip you with technical skills in artificial intelligence and data analytics. You will learn the fundamentals and applications of data science, machine learning, deep learning and artificial intelligence from experts in the field. You will also have the opportunity to work on real-world problems and projects in collaboration with industry partners. The AI track is a 30-credit hour program that offers a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum, a variety of elective courses, an applied and integrated capstone project, and a supportive and collaborative learning environment. The AI track will prepare you for high-demand and lucrative careers in artificial intelligence and data analytics.

There are no additional requirements for admission into the program beyond admission to UCF.

The professional preparation you receive in our program may still assist you in such pursuits; however, we are unable to confirm the specific licensure and certification requirements of each state, territory, or foreign entity in which professional credentialing may be possible. If you intend to pursue such credentialing in your state or elsewhere, we strongly advise you to contact the applicable state credentialing authority to familiarize yourself with its specific requirements and determine if our program meets its academic criteria.
