CS Students and Faculty Win Best Long Paper Award at SUI 2019

Several UCF CS students and faculty have won a “Best Long Paper” award at the 7th ACM Symposium on Spatial User Interaction. The paper was authored by CS PhD student Nahal Norouzi, CS PhD student Austin Erickson, postdoctoral scholar (and UCF CS PhD graduate) Kangsoo Kim, special projects coordinator and lab manager Ryan Schubert, CS professor Joseph LaViola, research assistant professor Gerd Bruder, and professor Greg Welch and titled: “Effects of Shared Gaze Parameters on Visuual Target Identification Task Performance in Augmented Reality”.
