04/13/04 - Presentations seem to be going well. We have only three more regular class days and two presentations scheduled during the final exam period. Attendance is important for these presentations. Remember that missing the final exam day is a double whammy in terms of attendance penalties -- 10% off your overall grade (or one whole letter)!

And speaking of attendance, last class there were way too many of you showing up late. Tardiness at that level is unacceptable in this class. It is both rude to the folks presenting and shows a general lack of interest in the class. So, for the remainder of the class, if you're more than five minutes late you get NO credit for attendance. No excuses -- no ifs, ands, or buts. The simple solution is to leave your home, office, whatever, 10 to 15 minutes early during these last four days -- that way you will always be on time.

Well, that's all for now. See you in class tomorrow.
