Congratulations to Dr. Pamela Wisniewski, her PhD student Karla Badillo-Urquiola, and their coauthor, Xinru Page for receiving a Best Paper award (top 1% of all submissions) at the ACM CHI conference for 2019.

UCF finished in 3rd Place at the National Collegiate Penetration Testing competition on Sunday, November 4th at Rochester Institute of Technology.

A team of UCF students won the Raymond James Capture-the-Flag Competition on Saturday, October 27th at Raymond James corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL.

On October 11, 2018, UCF had 19 members of the Hack@UCF club compete in the Duel Factor CTF Competition at Florida Cyber Con at the Tampa Convention Center.

UCF won the Eastern Region Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition on Sunday, October 7th hosted by Penn State University.

Congratulations to Dr. Pamela Wisniewski who was selected for a W. T. Grant Foundation Scholars award. Dr. Wisniewski was the only Computer Scientist selected this year.

Two UCF teams captured 1st and 3rd place in the 16th annual Information Security Talent Search (ISTS) Competition on February 4th in Rochester, NY.

Congratulations to the UCF Raptor team, (L to R): Timothy Buzzelli, Eric Ly, Alex Coleman, all Computer Science majors, who won the SE Regional division I of the ACM ICPC and will advance to the world finals in China.

Congratulations to Dr. Sumit Jha and his student Sunny Raj and collaborators Dr. Laura Pullum and Dr. Arvind Ramanthan at Oak Ridge National Laboratory for winning the best paper award at the Foundations of Privacy & Security FPS 2017 conference held at INRIA Nancy, France.
