Overview

I am the founding director of the Master of Science in Data Analytics at UCF. We started this program in 2016 and since we have graduated more then 120 students. This program is unique in many ways including: multiple partnerships with industry, faculty from computer science and data science, internships, and a capstone course that teaches entrepreneurship and innovation for data science. The Master of Science in Data Analytics program at the University of Central Florida prepares students with the technical skills needed to manipulate, manage, and interpret data. There is an increasing need to turn large and complex amounts of data into knowledge to drive business decisions. The program will utilize the technical aspects of big data analytics, including algorithm design, programming, acquisition, management, mining, analysis, and interpretation of data.
