Reference Manual |
cloudscape.language.preloadClassesFunctionSpecifies whether Cloudscape should synchronously compile and execute a system-configured query in order to preload compilation classes at database bootup. Setting this property to true means that boot time is slower, but the compilation time of the first query executed by the user is much faster. A database typically boots when you first connect to it. Databases can also boot at startup; see cloudscape.system.bootAll. Examplecloudscape.language.preloadClasses=true
-- database-wide property
-- publishing a database-wide property DefaultScopedatabase-wide (publishable) Dynamic or StaticThis property is dynamic; if you change it while Cloudscape is running, the change takes effect immediately.
