Creating a Synchronized System
OverviewCreating a Cloudscape synchronization system is very simple. A simplified version of the steps:
Each of these steps take a single line of code. See Sample Code for Creating a Synchronized System for an example. Typically, you configure source and target databases for synchronization at the time they are created. NOTE: You can convert non-synchronization-enabled databases to source databases. For more information, see URL Attributes for Synchronization. Typically, the source database runs as a server. For more information on servers, please consult the Cloudscape Server and Administration Guide. A target can run on almost any device that includes a Java Virtual Machine (JVM). NOTE: You can also use Cloudview to create a synchronized system. For more information, see the Cloudview online help. |
