Using Cloudview
|
|
CloudviewPropertiesYou can specify Cloudscape properties on the Cloudview command line (such as cloudscape.system.home and other database and system properties). A general discussion of database and system properties can be found in the Tuning Cloudscape guide. This section discusses two tool-specific command-line properties and the property file Cloudview uses on startup. Locale and Codeset PropertiesCloudview provides two localization-related properties: Cloudview looks at these properties to determine the language/codeset in which to display GUI elements (such as error messages, menu options, and so on). For more information about these properties, see cloudscape.ui.codeset and cloudscape.ui.locale. SysVisual.properties FileCloudview automatically creates a file called SysVisual.properties in the directory from which Cloudview is started. It contains state information about which driver to load, what databases were connected, and so on. You can remove this file to restore the default settings. Typically, you do not need to edit this file. |
