The possible class projects are now placed in the class website.

An extension is given till the end of next Monday, September 15th,
for the project selection.

Send four choices with the decreasing order of preference to both the instructor
and the class TA.

If you have any questions related to the projects, please get in touch
with the contact person(s) of the project directly.

The final selection will be made by next Tuesday, September 16th.

You are encouraged to contact your client as soon as possible such that
you have sufficient time to prepare your upcoming first project deliverable.

The due date for the first set of project deliverables are extended till
October 3rd, Friday.

Reminder: The midterm exam will be given on October 7th which will
cover chapters 1-6, 8-9 from the class textbook.

The UML assignment is now now placed in the main page and is due on October
14th. The students are required to turn in the hard copies to the instructor
at the beginning of the class period.
Tuesday, September 30, 2003:

The first set of project team presentations will take place on October
14th. Each team is required to present the overview of the turned-in project
deliverables. Each team should prepare presentation for 15-20 mins followed
by 5-10 mins Q&A session.
Tuesday, October 7, 2003:

The UML presentation has been linked in the class web page. Again, the
UML assignment is due next week, October 14th.
Tuesday, October 14, 2003:

The research paper assignments are given in the class web page. Each student
is expected to prepare presentation for 20 mins followed by 5-10 mins Q&A
session.

Each student is expected to hand in a hard copy of the presentation slides
(3-6 slides per page) in class prior to the presentation.

The students should place their presentations in their respective project
web pages at least three days prior to the class presentation such that
each presentation can be linked in the class web page for other students
to review.
Tuesday, November 11, 2003:

The final presentations will cover the deliverables that you are required
to turn in that day in class, similar to the previous two
presentations.

The time of the presentation is the same as previous presentations.

The demos are scheduled to be given during my office hours (4:30pm-6:30pm)
on December 2 (as stated in the schedule currently) starting from Team
1 thru 6.

You can bring your own computer/laptop to show the demo. Each demo should
take no longer than 15 mins.

All the teams are required to place their project website into a CD and
deliver one for the instructor and one for the client no later than the
day of project demos. Please make sure to have a CD cover to protect your
project CD. Since you may not have the code present in the website, please
make sure to include the code in the CD with the executable requirements.
