Artificial immune system-based mobile node movement

A sensor network contains a set of mobile nodes. The idea is that the nodes are moving towards the areas where there is interesting phenomena (but, also, they are trying to load-balance themselves, that is, not gather all of them to the hottest part and ignore the rest).

NOTE: I am less familiar with artificial immune systems than with the other technologies mentioned in these projects. However, it is an emerging technology, which became relatively well established in the last five years, with papers in solid journals published. There is a relatively small number of papers published which apply artificial immune systems to sensor networks. Here is an opportunity of learning something new, and if you do a good work, to write a paper which will gather many citations.
