I am a graduate student in computer science in the EECS department at University of Central Florida. I received the BS degree in computer engineering from Amirkabir University of Technolog (Tehran Polytechnic), Tehran, Iran, in 2007.

Research interests

My research interests include topics in computer vision and machine learning. In particular, I study object detection, tracking and surveillance, human action recognition, video segmentation, audio-visual analysis. My focus is on using machine learning tools such as latent structured SVM, graphical models (CRF, HMM), sparse representation, boosting, artificial neural network to build practical and useful applications in computer vision.
