This is the seventeenth of
the ISCIS series of conferences that have brought together computer
scientists from around the world. ISCIS XVII will take place at the
University of Central Florida in the attractive and inviting city of Orlando,
Florida. The university, located near the Disney World and a variety of theme
parks, offers convenient and very modern facilities. Orlando's entertaining
and educational environment provides a very appropriate context for our

Theory PAPER SELECTION: Papers will be
selected on the basis of originality, significance and clarity. Length of
submitted papers is limited to 5 pages double column format including figures
and tables. Submissions must be made electronically as Postscript, Adobe PDF,
or MS Word files. Accepted papers by authors who register and attend the
conference will be published in the Proceedings. SPECIAL SESSIONS: Proposals for special
sessions are encouraged. They should include a title, contact information for
the session chair(s), and a list of authors who have agreed to present papers
