Anonymous Pen Pal System Usage

First, let me tell you a little about the structure of this system. I
created it merely for the challange. I have no interest in knowing your
real name or your email address, but I ask you for your email address in
order to ensure that I don't have people abusing the system. I will not
give your email address to anyone, that will be up to you to do. My hope is
that this system will be able to run itself with only minimal intervention
from me. I do plan on continuously improve the system.

I would really like some ideas on what kind of static information should
be kept about a person. The type of info I'm talking about are the
questions like "I am a non-smoker". I need ideas for more kinds of info
like this.

In order to use the anonymous pen pal system you first need to obtain
your nick name and password.

Your nick name should not be more than 20 characters long and can have spaces.

Once you enter a nick name and your real email address, press the submit
button and the system will generate a password for you and email it to
the address you gave. This should only take less than a minute.

When you get your email conformation you are ready to start using the system.

After you get your password the first thing you need to do is enter your
user data. This is the data that other users will see when they browse
through the entries.


How do pen pals get in touch with each other?


No one can actually see any other users email address. The way the system
works is you are allowed to email every other user in the system once by
sending them a pre-made request message. This message will contain your
nickname and your email address. If that user would like to talk to you,
they can email you back, if they don't they can just ignore you.
The email request option is a button on the pen pal browse screen. It is
completely automated so you cannot enter any text in the request message.

If you would like to disable your entry from being shown while browsing,
you can do this from the main menu. You can enable it again at any time.
