Short biography:
Euripides Montagne is a Lecturer at the School of Computer Science, University of Central Florida since 1999. He teaches courses in the areas of operating systems, computer architecture, and programming languages.
He received his Ph.D. from Universidad Central de Venezuela(UCV), his M.Sc. in computer science from McGill University, and his Licenciado(B.Sc.) degree in computer science from Universidad Central de Venezuela. His research interests encompass architectures to handle irregular problems, non-standard computer architectures (quantum computing), parallel processing and computer science education. He has published a number of papers in his areas of expertise.
Since 1999 he has been with the University of Central Florida. Previously he was a faculty member at Universidad Central de Venezuela (1980-98), and held visiting positions at McGill University as instructor, Universite Paris Sud (Paris XI) as assitant associe, and University of West Indies at Jamaica as visiting lecturer.
