My 1991 UCF High School Contest Solutions

Note: These problems are posted off of UCF's site, but no data is available for them. This was the first programming competition I attended as a participant. (My teammates were Toan Pham, Travis Terry and Stefan Bernhardt.) Much to probably lots of people's surprise, we solved the set and won the contest. (It was downhill for me from there...the following two years my teams finished in third and fifth places, respectively.) I actually still have the hard-copy problem set I used that day. I have a big diagonal line through the description of the polygon question, indicating that I solved it, which is sort of funny.

I have made data for all of these problems, but it has not been verified by anyone. If you are experienced and think this is fun, see if you can (a) write a solution, (b) make sure your output matches mine, and (c) make sure the data is within bounds. If you get a discrepancy, please email me and I will look into it. I didn't necessarily put maximum effort coming up with test cases, but I think I made them at least at the level of data from the time period, for this contest.

What I haven't yet done is write a checker for the Choo Choo Train problem. I am leaving all of the checkers until the very end of the project.
