My UCF High School Contest Project/Solutions
Project Background
For the time being (August 20, 2026), I have a provisional set of solutions
posted here for every UCF High School Programming Contest Problem from
1987 - 2026, so forty years' worth of problems. Several problems didn't
have original test data available (four years worth plus a couple of
other outlying problems), so I've made my own data and haven't gotten
outside verification on that yet. (When I do, I'll update this page.)
In addition, I have now compiled a spreadsheet cataloging every one of
the 427 problems from 1987-2026 from the contest. My hope is that this
spreadsheet can help high school coaches train their teams for our contest.
The spreadsheet has 15 tabs, so I've written an 8 page document
(linked below) to explain the spreadsheet and all of its tabs.
My next steps are to write a paper about the contest and its evolution
based on this data that I have compiled, as well as getting verification
for my four years' worth of data I created.
