General Questions
Sometimes, rather than wanting to know if you know specific information,
interviewers want to see how you might attack problems in general. Here
are questions of this type:
- Describe a difficult problem you have had that is programming related.
How did you eventually solve the problem and what steps did you take to
solve the problem?
- If you did not know a skill needed for ajob you were working on, how
would you go about learning the skill to finish the job?
- What programming practice/habit of yours has later forced you to spend
more time debugging your code? How have you taken steps to get rid of this
habit? Has it worked?
