First part of class we took a quiz on the reading(about language and
mentalese...) I will shortly attach the solutions to this quiz on the web.

After the quiz we discussed the articles. The main issue at hand that we
tried to tackle was whether or not thought was constricted by language.
The Sapir-Whorf hypothesis states that this is indeed the case. However,
Steven Pinker refuted this idea, attempting to find holes in research done
by Whorf and others.
