1. Served as the scientific advisor for the Alexandria University Science Club and supervised a project which got the first place award among all the Egyptian universities and institutions, July 2002.

3. Served as a reviewer for the IEEE International conference of Computer Vision & Image Processing
4. Served as a reviewer for the IEEE transaction on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence
5. Got the best presentation certificate in the 1999 IEEE IJCNN, Washington, DC, 1999.
