Hello and welcome to my webpage. I graduated from UCF with a Ph.D. in Computer Science (major AI and Computer Vision) in Spring 2007 and have moved to ObjectVideo, where I am working as a Research Scientist. Before joining ObjectVideo I was pursuing a Ph.D. degree in the field of Computer Science at the University of Central Florida where I worked with Dr. Mubarak Shah who is the director of Computer Vision Lab. My research interests include Activity Recognition, Event Representation and Ontologies, Tracking and Video Surveillance, Calibration and Geometry, Video Event Mining and Video Compression.

Before joining the Ph.D. program I was working as a Systems Analyst and Programmer with ABN AMRO Global IT Solutions, which is the IT division of ABN AMRO bank, which is the 6th largest bank in the world with over 250 branches in over 50 countries and market capital of over $30 billion. I had joined AAGITS in Summer 2000 after graduating as a Computer Systems Engineer from GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, where I was in class of 2000.
