Hi there...I am unavailable at the moment, please leave a message after the tone... : ) While you wait, here is a short story about me: among other things I am an open Source fan, Linux user, commander of my shell (when I know the right string of commands), enjoy all kinds of puzzles except for the ones that give me a headache, designing programs and visualizations, math problems, artificial intelligence and cognitive science, evolutionary computation, distributed computing, juicy biological patterns and mysteries.

Recently I have become interested in improving the way we as users deal with the great amount of information that comes our way on the Web and Desktops. How do we visualize it or sense it in the less intrusive manner possible? Can we partition our "virtual spaces" into separate environments just like we do in our houses? How can we dynamically discover these separations? How can we help people avoid over-socialization with the overwhelming emergence of Social Networks?

Related to this is the topic of complexity, what is complexity and how can we study it? What can we borrow from nature? One of my favorite papers from all times is "The Principles of Collective Animal Behavior" by D. J. T. Sumpter, 2006.

I am currently working on a M.S. in Computer Engineering at the University of Central Florida, Orlando. I completed my undergraduate in Computer Science at Florida International University in 2005.
