Online Classes

The classes of the graduate certificate can be taken online with the following qualifications:

(1) Students intend to apply to the program and take the classes entirely online need to demonstrate sufficient background in computer systems (Windows, DOS, Linux), computer hardware, and networking.

(2) Online students need to have access to adequate computing and networking facilities (administrative privilege to a Windows machine and a Linux machine connected via a switch/router, at the minimum).

(3) The elective course CET 6887 (previously DIG 5835) requires a Saturday, in-class meeting for the moot court practice.  The course instructor Mark Pollitt will accommodate students who live prohibitively distant from Orlando, by using teleconferencing or regional labs for the moot court component.  Please contact Professor Pollitt at mpollitt@mail.ucf.edu to make arrangement prior to registering for the class.

Class schedules for summer 2009, fall 2009 and spring 2010 are available at click here.  Please contact the program coordinator Sheau-Dong Lang at lang@cs.ucf.edu if you have any questions regarding the certificate program or classes.
