The Syllabus (and most other files on this Web page) are in Microsoft Word or Powerpoint format, or in the PDF format. They can be read on any of the Windows computers in the UCF labs, or, if you're on another computer and don't have Microsoft Word or Powerpoint, you can get a free viewer from Microsoft. The PDF files can be read if your computer has the Acrobat Reader software, which is available from Adobe Reader Download.

Announcements (updated 10/27/2004):

  • (10/27/2004) The new due date for Assignment #3 is 11/4/2004 in class.
  • (9/23/2004) The new due date for Assignment #2 is 9/30/2004 in class.
  • (9/21/2004) Students in the class are responsible for reading the posted announcements periodically to receive updated information, which will also be formally announced in the class following each new update.
  • (9/21/2004) All questions regarding the homework or exam grading must be directed to the course instructor Dr. Lang, i.e., do not go to the TAs directly and bypass the course instructor. Questions concerning the grades should be raised within one week after the papers have been returned in the class (unless prior arrangements are made).
