December 06, 2006 For the final exam, please study your previous home works and exams carefully. Don't forget to pay attention to exercises in Introduction to Computer Security book by Matt Bishop.
November 22, 2006 Abhishek's presentation has been uploaded under the lectures section. I have uploaded a related paper if anybody is interested in this area of research.
November 20, 2006 There will be a talk given by one of Dr. Guha's student on Wednesday and one on Monday. Students are given an option to write a report on either of these talks. They will get ONE BONUS point for their report.
November 20, 2006 Exam 2 and solution for exam 2 are now online. Grades for exam 2 and bonus for Dr. cash's lecture are available on Webct. Please make sure that you don't have any pending problem with any grade.
November 16, 2006 For the students who were present in Dr. Cash's lecture and want to get the bonus point, the deadline to submit their report is Monday November 20, 2006.
November 14, 2006 Dr. Cash of Philosophy dept. will give a lecture ("Hacking, the Law, and Ethics.") in tomorrow's class. Those who attend the class and write a one page report on the lecture will get ONE BONUS POINT.
November 13, 2006 Exam 2, which was supposed to be held today, will now be held on Friday, Nov 17 2006. Sorry for the inconvenience.

October 18, 2006 From this point on, we will require you to submit both hard copy of the assignments in class and soft copy of the assignments using webct. Please make a note of this.

October 9, 2006 Grades for exam 2 can now be seen on webct. Home work 3 was graded on Friday and can also be seen on webct. Computer Science building has now moved to Harris Center also known as Engineering 3. In Harris Center, Dr. Guha has his office in 244 and TA office is 301. From today, the TA hours and office hours of Dr. Guha will be held in Harris Center in 301 and 244 respectively.

September 25, 2006 Deadline for assignment 3 has been extended to September 28, 2006. The example given by Zeeshan Furqan is also uploaded in Lectures Section. Extra credit of 2 points has been added to all those who participated in the survey today. Make sure it is reflected under the grades on your webct.

September 21, 2006 One of Dr. Guha's student who is working in Computer Security discipline will give a survey in class on Monday 25 September. You will get 2 bonus points for attending Monday's class.
September 21, 2006 Homework 2 has been graded. You can see your grade on webct. A change has been made to Question 4 of homework 3.
September 20, 2006 Homework 3 is now available under the Assignments Section. It has a total of 12 problems. Ten out of these twelve problems are given in Assignment 3 web link, whereas, the other two are 10.1 and 10.2 given in Assignment 3-part2.pdf. The figure needed is also uploaded as a .pdf file. In addition to homework 3, Lectures Section is also updated with today's lecture.
September 20, 2006 Exam 1 will be held on October 2 (Monday), 2006. Exam 1 will cover chapters 1 and 2 from Computer Networking by James Kurose and Keith Ross and chapters 8 and 9 from Introduction to Computer Security by Matt Bishop. Homework 3 will be posted soon.

Since UCF is going to be closed tomorrow (refer to www.ucf.edu for latest news), deadline for assignment 1 has been extended. Assignment 1 is now due on Friday September 1.

August 25, 2006 Assignment 1 has been updated. Some mistakes were pointed out in question 1 and they have been corrected.
